Youth of the Month![]() Tamia Younger has been chose as Youth of the Month for our Patrick Henry Elementary School site. She is a third grader and a great student! She is respectful to her leader as well as to her classmates. She gives her very best effort to follow all the rules. She is truly a great kid! ![]() Sanville Elementary Boys & Girls Club is announcing its January 2010 Youth of the Month. The award this month goes to Hunter Dowell. He is a 3rd grader at Sanville Elementary. Hunter is the son of Michelle Dowell. Hunter is a very respectful and mannerly young man. His good sportsmanship shows when playing with the other club members. He goes above and beyond by not just doing what is asked of him, but volunteering to help others. Basketball, football, baseball, and soccer are just some of Hunter’s sport loves. This honor will put Hunter in the running for the Sanville Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year which will be awarded in the spring 2010. Sanville’s club is proud of all its boys and girls, especially of those who work so hard to BE GREAT and receive this award! Congratulations, Hunter, keep up the good work! ![]() Elijah Doss is Youth of the Month at Boys & Girls Clubs at Irisburg Elementary. Way to go Elijah! ![]() Congratulations to Tyler Allen for being the Teen Center’s Youth of the Month. He is an eighth grader at Martinsville Middle School. He is an excellent student, has a great attitude, takes initiative, and is a good leader. We are VERY proud of Tyler! ![]() Jaila Grant has been named Student of the Month at Albert Harris. Jaila is an exceptionally well behaved student. She is a pleasure to have in class and will always bring a smile to your face. Although sometimes shy, Jaila never seems to have a problem making friends and getting along with other students. With a smile and a laugh she will win over your heart instantly. Jaila is one of the most wonderful students I have ever been blessed to work with. |
